The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company is licensed to issue health and life insurance policies in all states except New York. Mid-West is licensed to issue health and life insurance policies in all states except Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont. It is also licensed in Puerto Rico.
For Small Business Owners
HealthMarkets® offers a variety of plans for small businesses through our subsidiary, The Chesapeake Life Insurance Company, along with The MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company and Mid-West subsidiary. Chesapeake is licensed to issue health and life insurance policies in all states except New Jersey, New York and Vermont. MEGA is licensed to issue health and life insurance policies in all states except New York. Mid-West issues health and life insurance policies in all states except Maine, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont.
