I spent over 25 years as a health care consultant, leveraging data and analytics to help hospitals and health systems improve the quality and efficiency of the care they deliver to their patients. However, one of the greatest barriers to high-quality care remains access to the health care system itself. In my role with HealthMarkets, I have the opportunity to drive health care improvement in a different way—by helping individuals obtain insurance coverage and access the care they deserve. My goal is to help people find coverage options that give them confidence they can receive the care they need at a price they can afford.
