I believe that I have eight primary responsibilities to live up to to be a highly effective insurance broker to my clients. I promise to live up to each standard for my clients. If I do not, I promise to listen and do whatever I can within my power to improve when I fall short of fulfilling those expectations.The first responsibility I have as a highly effective insurance broker for my clients is to make myself available to them. Being available could mean chatting with clients via phone, facetime, text, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, Twitter, etc. Meeting the customer where they are is essential in this age of digital communication. My second responsibility is to honestly remind my clients that the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There are going to be days when things aren't working out. But I'll find the best way to help them navigate through those days. My third responsibility is to focus on the results, and that is to provide the best customer service by listening to my clients and finding ways to improve the customer's experience.My fourth responsibility is to educate. Educate my clients about their healthcare choices and that there's more to the insurance purchase than just the price. My fifth responsibility is hard work and ALWAYS doing what is in the client's best interest, which includes being there when they have a claim. I know success will take work and planning. My sixth responsibility is to have a sense of urgency, to embrace hustle mode to find the best options for each client. My seventh responsibility is always to be hungry to grow and learn. Life isn't cozy or safe, times change, people change, people's health changes, and health insurance changes. I must always be looking for the best ways to help my clients succeed. My eighth responsibility is to consistently follow up with clients, even when there is no status change.
