When you try this honey blueberry parfait, you’ll know why ‘parfait’ is the French word for ‘perfect.’ With just the right combination of proteins and carbohydrates, this is a great way to start your day off right. Many people buy granola, but it’s actually quite easy to make, and homemade granola tends to have much less sugar than the store-bought stuff. Just bake some whole oats and add your favorite nuts and seeds – you can buy your ingredients in the bulk food section of the supermarket. Then, use your homemade granola to make this parfait. 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1.5 Tbsp. honey
1 cup granola (homemade or store bought)
1 cup blueberries
- Mix the Greek yogurt and honey in a small bowl, and taste. Add more honey to taste, if necessary.
- Pour the honey yogurt into your parfait bowl. Top with granola and blueberries, and serve!
